I hope everyone will have a great time this week exploring their new Kindermusik "At Home" materials-- at home! There is so much fun and learning that can take place when you and your family enjoy these musical instruments, books, CDs and games together. You'll even find that as you listen to the music and do musical activities at home more, your child will become more comfortable with participating in class. Remember, you are your child's first and best teacher. Have fun!

Saturday, April 26th, at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds, from 9:00am-12:00noon come and see, sit in, and climb on your favorite big trucks! From fire trucks to cement mixers to FedEx trucks, they'll all be there for the kids to explore. Definitely FUN for the whole family!

Storyteller Jahruba Lambeth will be at the Performing Arts Studio, Saturday, February 16th at 1:30pm presenting a free performance! This event is geared toward children and families and will include African drumming. Everyone is welcome, and I hope you will attend this free event! This is a great opportunity for young children to get to experience live music, as well as storytelling in the tradition of the African griot. For more information, click here!
Art Train USA will be making a stop in Norman this weekend (Nov. 30-Dec.2)! This traveling art exhibit will only be stopping in two locations in Oklahoma, and your last chance to see it will be in Norman this weekend, just south of the train depot. AND, admission is FREE! But that's not all-- while you're in downtown Norman, be sure to visit the Art Walk-- galleries and businesses all over downtown will be featuring new exhibitions, live music and more. You can read all the details here and here. It's a great opportunity for the kids to go on board a real train, see a variety of styles of art, and hear live music. Should be fun for the whole family. There are even carriage rides from the depot to the Art Train on Friday night!
