1. Crayola Wonder fingerpaints and paper-- we used the Crayola Wonder fingerpaint to make the handprints. These paints are a clear gel that I just rubbed onto Weston's hands. Then I pressed his hands onto the special Crayola Wonder paper. After just a second the handprints show up green (or whichever color you choose).
2. I gave Weston a full sheet of construction paper and let him do some coloring with crayons to decorate it. I had to show him how to use crayons, since this was his first experience with them, but he quickly got the hang of it.
3. While he was coloring sitting in his highchair, I traced around his foot on a piece of brown construction paper. Then I cut out the foot shape and the handprints that we had already made.
4. I glued the foot and handprints onto Weston's art work. Then I added a face, including a nose made out of red glitter glue.
Fun, quick, and easy-- just the way I like my craft projects! Try it with your child-- older kids could make them more elaborate and do the entire project themselves. Enjoy!
